Jenn Cain, a Fayetteville native, has studied multiple genres of dance since the age of four. She has studied, performed and competed in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, contemporary, pointe, tumbling, and clogging at regional and national level competitions, New York City, Disney World, and Carnival Cruise Lines. As a young dancer, she received numerous scholarships while attending dance competitions and was also a Dance Caravan Kid recipient. Jenn attended North Carolina Governor’s School as a dance student in her high school career. Upon graduation from Cape Fear High School, she received the prestigious Teaching Fellows scholarship and graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education (K-12). She is currently in her 10th year of teaching for Cumberland County Schools, where she has brought tremendous growth to the dance program at Cape Fear High School. Jenn is the primary Acro Dance teacher at OPDC and has been certified through the Acrobatic Arts Teacher Certification Program since 2017. Jenn has a true passion for teaching dance and enjoys being able to share her passion with her students!
Crystal Byrd is a native of Fayetteville NC, where she has spent the last 19 years dancing & performing locally. She is a graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College & a current student at Fayetteville State University. Crystal has been involved with dance since the age of three. She has also been involved with pageantry and acting since a young age. Some of her accomplishments include Miss Fayetteville 2017, 2015, 2016, 2017 Miss North Carolina contestant, 1st runner up CDM Petite Miss Dance of North Carolina 2004, 3rd runner up CDM Junior Miss Dance 2005, cast in High School Musical 1 & 2, Peter Pan, Legally Blonde & Hairspray at Cape Fear Regional theater. Crystal is also the president of K.I.N.D Indeed - a charity organization she created that helps give less fortunate children in Fayetteville FREE dance lessons. With the help of On Pointe Dance Center and Moe's Southwest Grill she has been able to give away generous dance scholarships to children. It is Crystals goal to give every child a fun & exciting time while giving them the benefits of dance.
Courtney Haire, a North Carolina State University student, grew up in the Stedman/Eastover area of North Carolina. Courtney has been dancing since the age of four, where she has studied in genres such as tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Courtney has participated in dance competitions and workshops in the Fayetteville and Raleigh area. She is very involved with her local church, where she participates as the dance instructor for the children and youth dance teams. Courtney has instructed dance teams and individual solos that have placed at state and national competitions with her church. Recently, Courtney taught lyrical and modern at the 3rd Annointing Winter Dance Camp at Gateway Ministries Church in Williamsport, Maryland. Courtney thanks God for the ability and talent He has given her to communicate through dance. She is grateful for the opportunity to share her talents and to encourage young dancers to expand their dance abilities at On Pointe Dance Center.
A Fayetteville native, Aubrie Hauth received her Bachelors in Fine Arts at East Carolina University with a concentration in contemporary dance. She has choreographed for several shows and productions including Fame,Thoroughly Modern Millie and Beauty and The Beast. She has also performed in various dance concerts including ECU Dance 2011, ECU's Light's Up, and for the American College Dance Festival Association. Currently, Aubrie is teaching dance at her alma mater Jack Britt High School and as an instructor and choreographer for On Pointe Dance Center.
Dana has been dancing for 27 years, beginning her training in a studio in Charlotte, NC. She has a BA in dance from UNC-Greesnboro where she was also a member of the Spartan G dance team for 4 years and the captain for 2 years. She is currently the dance teacher at South View High School and is beginning her 6th year as a public school dance teacher.
SHANNON MARSHALL WILLIAMSON
Shannon Marshall Williamson is a dance educator who specializes in classical ballet. Shannon received her Bachelors of Science in Dance Education from Southern Utah University where she graduated as Dance Outstanding Student and as a member of the National Honor Society for Dance. Since graduating, she taught classical ballet for On Stage Dance Studio and performed as a professional dancer with Shifting Velocity Modern Dance Company. Shannon is excited to be a part of the On Pointe Dance Center Team and to share her love of dance.
Shannon also enjoys reading a good book, spending time in the outdoors, and enjoying family time with her husband Mason and Daughter Ella.
Lindsay Hall teaches at Haymount UMC Preschool, where she is currently celebrating her 5th year teaching and 2nd year as the PE teacher. She was born and raised in Fayetteville, where she was a graduate of The Fayetteville Academy and UNC-Chapel Hill. Upon graduation, Lindsay moved back home to work in the family business until the birth of her beautiful daughter Riley 10 years later. Lindsay is very active in the Fayetteville community where you can always find her volunteering to serve her time and talents.

Jillian Kirkwood, an OPDC competition team member, is a senior at Cape Fear High School. She has been dancing since she was three years old and has been involved in competition dance since she was 8 years old. Jillian loves performing and sharing her passion of dance by assisting at OPDC.
Stephanie Sparks is a senior at Cape Fear High School and current member of the OPDC competition team. She has been dancing since Kindergarten and it’s evident that dance is what she loves! Stephanie loves working with kids and thinks that it is special to be able to teach them what she is passionate about. Stephanie cherishes her time here at OPDC and the memories that will last a lifetime from being part of our dance family.
